No. MYDK welcomes everyone — first-timers and seasoned meditators alike. Sessions are guided and require no prior practice. Come with an open mind; the river takes care of the rest.

Yes. Every family member must register separately (free) so we can plan seating, meals, and the QR pass for each person. Use the "Family members" step during registration to add them.

Children aged 12 and above are welcome when accompanied by a registered parent or guardian. Younger children may attend at the parent's discretion, but please note that long sessions and floor seating can be difficult for them.

Yes. Most sessions are conducted in Hindi, with English translation available for the main talks. Meditation itself needs no translation — silence works in every language.

A reusable water bottle, a light shawl for the early-morning sessions, a notebook if you like to journal, and comfortable clothes for sitting. A meditation cushion is optional — mats are provided.

Simple sattvic snacks and fruit are fine. Sevadar-prepared meals are served on-site through the day. Please do not bring non-vegetarian food, alcohol, or strong-smelling items into the venue.

Please plan to arrive at the Rishikesh venue by the afternoon of October 23, 2026. The opening session begins that evening. Detailed arrival instructions and a venue map are sent with your QR pass closer to the event.

Your QR pass (digital on your phone, or printed) and a government-issued photo ID that matches the name on your registration. Each family member needs their own pass and ID.

Limited chair seating is available at the back of the hall. Please mention this in the "special needs" field during registration so we can plan accordingly. Mats and small cushions are also available for hybrid floor seating.

Yes, completely free. MYDK is offered as a gift, supported entirely by donations from those who believe in the work. If you'd like to contribute, the Donate page is open year-round — all donations are 80G eligible.

You'll see a confirmation screen immediately after submitting, followed by an email and a WhatsApp message within a few minutes. If you don't receive either, check your spam folder and then reach out to us via the Contact page.

We strongly recommend registering online in advance so we can plan seating, meals, and accommodation guidance. On-site registration is only possible if capacity remains on arrival, and is not guaranteed.
