How to reach Rishikesh

Rishikesh sits at the foothills of the Himalayas, about 250 km north of Delhi. Here are the most common routes.

By air

The nearest airport is Jolly Grant (DED), about 35 km / 1 hour from Rishikesh. Direct flights from Delhi (DEL) and Bengaluru (BLR). From the airport, taxis and shared cabs are available.

By train

Haridwar Junction (HW) is the largest nearby railway station, ~25 km / 45 min from Rishikesh, with direct trains from most major cities. Rishikesh (RKSH) station is closer (~5 km from venue) but has fewer trains.

By road

From Delhi (~6 hrs by car / 7 hrs by bus), take NH-334 via Meerut and Roorkee. State-run Volvo and Shatabdi buses depart Kashmiri Gate ISBT every hour.

Getting around Rishikesh

Most ashrams cluster around Muni-ki-Reti, Tapovan, and Swargashram. Auto-rickshaws and shared Vikrams are easy to find. Walking distances between accommodations and the venue are usually short.
