This policy explains how MYDK India collects, uses, and protects the personal information of people who register for, donate to, or otherwise interact with the Maha Yog-Dhyan Kumbh.
Information we collect
When you register or donate we collect your name, contact details (email, phone), date of birth, gender, address, and the preferences you supply on the form. For donors we additionally collect PAN (if provided for 80G receipts) and payment metadata returned by Razorpay. We do not collect bank or card details — those flow directly between you and Razorpay.
How we use it
We use this information to plan capacity, send confirmations and event updates, issue donation receipts, and meet our obligations under the Income Tax Act for 80G donations. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Who we share it with
Operational data is shared only with the Pyramid Spiritual Societies Movement (PSSM) and PMC Society teams who organise MYDK, and with service providers (Supabase for storage, Razorpay for payments, Strapi for content) acting on our behalf under data-processing terms.
How long we keep it
Registration records are kept for the duration of the active event and three subsequent years for reporting and follow-up. Donation records are kept for seven years to satisfy tax-audit requirements.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by writing to us at the contact address below. We will respond within 30 days.
